Recently, through my closest friend I have realised that there people in your life that only do anything but pull you down. This may sound like the views of a pompous asshole, but I believe that you shoudl only surround your self with positivity only good things will happen. I mean I don't have time for people that are gonna bring negativity my way and try and bring me down. There was a girl I was I won't say seeing but involved with a few months back, seemed to just annoying me and I'd find my self just very angry which for me is weird as if you know me I'm a very very happy guy 95% of the time. Any way I realised that she just had no business in my life and sure enough it ended, definitely a smart decision. I dunno whether or not its a harsh thing to do but its your life right?....people say you are the company you keep, and I only want people around me that I would be happy to call my friends. I don't see the point in being 'fake nice' to some one, I'd rather not have them like me then pretend I like them. It may make it easier....or would it? Would it just build up to the point where you just flip out and go off at them after being supposed friends for so long? Being fake is not in my make up and its something I'm never gonna do. I feel that you have got to be around people that support you and only are good for you.
Also I've listened to Mos Def's new album OH SHIT! This album is fantastic!! Any one that is Hip Hop fan needs to have this album in the collection, Mos Def is real and doesn't come with non sense he keeps its straight and down to earth. Maybe this is why he isn't regarded as one of the best but for me he is definitely one of the top 10 Mcs of all time he is brilliant and this album is just more proof of how good he is. 5 Stars I'm giving this album definitely go cop this album, its been sold as a shirt with bar codes then you can download the tracks on-line. A new innovative way of selling an album. Great album definitely go check it people!
