"The New Age Of Hip-Hop"

When you think of the hip hop pioneers you think of names like Kurtis Blow, Kool Herc, Grand Wizard Theodore, Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jay, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Melle Mel as well as Public Enemy and Run DMC. Some names like 2 pac, Notorious B.I.G, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Nas dominated the 90's, in the 2000s the likes of Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Eminem, Kanye West all emerged as power houses in the game. Now as we look to the future of hip hop and people that are gonna take the so called "Ball" and run with it, a lot of people are questioning the lively hood of hip hop, a lot of people are saying hip hop is dead. These people clearly haven't been listening closely to the industry, with the emergence of artist like Drake, Kid Cudi and Wale. With artist's like these all waiting to drop their debut studio albums hip is definitely in good hands.

Kid Cudi

Kid Cudi first shot to fame with the release of his song "Day 'n' Nite" two versions of this song were released the original version and the remix by the Crookers. What can I say about Cudi apart from he is the definition of Unique, he is some one that takes the unique style he has an incorporates it in to his music and for me thats the mark of a very intelligent and exciting artist. He is the definition of the new age of hip hop he brings his own style, by the way he dresses and the way he delivers on his tracks. I think artists like Cudi are bringing back the fun element in to hip hop.

Wale

Wale rose to prominence in 2006, when his song "Dig Dug (Shake It)" became popular in Washington, D.C. Wale has released five widely recognized mixtapes called Paint a Picture, Hate Is the New Love, 100 Miles & Running, The Mixtape About Nothing, Back to the Feature. Wale is a a new artist that is just exciting he is a perfect addition to the hip hop game, I predict big things for him and I can't wait for his album to drop. One track I think sums him up is a Pretty Girls fantastic track.

Drake

For me Drake is the saviour of hip hop, he brings something special to his music and it touches you like you never expect it to. He's latest song called Fear is a perfect example. His delivery is 2nd to none, his content is always so on point its unbelievable. Drake is signed to Young Money with Lil Wayne as his mentor and young money growing stronger and stronger he is on the platform to become something special. His first official release "Best I Ever Had" went to number 2 on the billboard hot 100, Drake just seems to come with something special on every track he always seems to get you up and listen and hit the rewind button just to listen again and be like "Wow did he really say that?". Simply put I believe he is a genius and when his album drops I can predict really big things for him.

So for all those looking for our next big names in Hip Hop look no further with these 3 just getting started Hip Hop is safe for a long time.
