When you think of the hip hop pioneers you think of names like Kurtis Blow, Kool Herc, Grand Wizard Theodore, Grandmaster Flash, Jazzy Jay, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Melle Mel as well as Public Enemy and Run DMC. Some names like 2 pac, Notorious B.I.G, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr Dre, Nas dominated the 90's, in the 2000s the likes of Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Eminem, Kanye West all emerged as power houses in the game. Now as we look to the future of hip hop and people that are gonna take the so called "Ball" and run with it, a lot of people are questioning the lively hood of hip hop, a lot of people are saying hip hop is dead. These people clearly haven't been listening closely to the industry, with the emergence of artist like Drake, Kid Cudi and Wale. With artist's like these all waiting to drop their debut studio albums hip is definitely in good hands.
Kid Cudi
Kid Cudi first shot to fame with the release of his song "Day 'n' Nite" two versions of this song were released the original version and the remix by the Crookers.

Wale
Wale rose to prominence in 2006, when his song "Dig Dug (Shake It)" became popular in Washington, D.C.

Drake
For me Drake is the saviour of hip hop, he brings something special to his music and it touches you like you never expect it to. He's latest song called Fear is a perfect example. His delivery is 2nd to none, his content is always so on point its unbelievable.

So for all those looking for our next big names in Hip Hop look no further with these 3 just getting started Hip Hop is safe for a long time.
