Right so I wanna address this subject that is the artist Jeffery "Ja Rule" Atkins...
Ja Rule, came, saw and conquered from his first single’s release on 1999's Venni Vetti Vecci. Moving forward, Rule dropped consistent radio and chart smashes with collaborations from the music world’s elite. Some included "Between Me and You", "Put It On Me", "Always On Time". At one point he was one of the hottest properties in the Hip Hop game and was seen as a King that couldn't have been over thrown. Then Legal issues, a well publicized "Beef" with 50 Cent seem to do nothing but damage the career of the talented artist. This was the first shade of darkness that descended over Ja Rule. Since then his album has gone from anticipated to shelved and has remained relatively quiet as tracks from his unreleased album leaked onto the net.
The Storm has passed for him now and things are all quiet on the horizon its time for him to take his place in the Hip Hop circle of life and do what he was so good at doing make music that made you feel good and relate to. He’s releasing that once held back album with The Mirror, which will drop on his own Empire Records label.
Ja Rule is ready to climb the mountain top and be amongst Hip Hop's Elite, saying that it will not be an easy feat with the artist's that are at the moment taking the game by storm but Ja Rule himself has said.....
"“They love to see an artist go to the top of the mountain and then go through hell and come back and be glorious! It’s definitely my time,” he told us. With a will that has yet to be stopped, despite the amount of turmoil he’s endured, he says he’s ready for redemption."
All I can say is that I'm glad to see him back he was a great artist in his day and was loved by many people until 50 cent came out and people proceeded to dislike him because of this....
For me he is not a great legendary hip hop artist but some one that you've got to mention in the fact he always made tracks that people enjoyed.
