"The Underrated Man."

Yesterday I gave you the "Forgotten Man" today I'm giving you the underrated man. The next few days I'm going to be blogging on certain people within the Hip hop industry...

So today the Underrated Man is Chis "Ludacris" Bridges. Ludacris is one of the most talented but underrated rappers in the game. Along with his manager, Chaka Zulu, Ludacris is the co-founder of Disturbing tha Peace, an imprint distributed by Def Jam Recordings. He is the highest selling Southern Hip Hop Artist of all time having sold over 17 million units in the United States and 24 million world wide. In addition to all of this he has Won 6 Grammy Awards, 5 BET awards, 3 Mtv video music awards and A Screen Actors Guild award!

Despite all this when people mention the best hip hop artists in the game Ludacris is some how over looked. One thing you know you are always going to get on a Ludacris song or song featuring him is great energy, brilliant delivery, fantastic play on words.

For example on Dj Khaled's - I'm So Hood Remix which features such performers as Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Big Boi, Busta Rhymes and Fat Joe. Ludacris comes with the lyrics....

I'm in the zone homes going for the two point conversion
I'm so hood that Ludacris should have been on the original version
But this is the remix
With the cheap tricks
Hitting sweet licks
And I cut the braids off with the waves and the fade that will make you sea sick

Thats one one example of his brilliance now those lyrics are good but it takes delivery as well to make it all work and ludacris puts it together in a delightful way.

Simply put for me Ludacris is one of the top 5 Hip Hop Artist for me in terms of delivery, albums, awards and sales.
